Talking to 2 people in Russia using Skype they say that microwave ovens are not banned and they both own one. Well there you go.

This sounds a lot like an article a friend in Vancouver, B.C. sent me from some Canadian publication citing the fact that we're all being poisoned by canola oil. ;)
